Biography - It's all about the crayons

Anyone who knows me, knows that color plays an important role in my design work. It seems that even my earliest memories about growing up, involve color. In particular, I recall one story which involved convincing my little sister to eat different colored crayons that were melting in the hot summer sun.

It seems, Liz, my little sister, who still looks up to me as the oldest, and I, were playing outside. I was - as always - bossing her around. When the crayons started melting, I told her that each colored crayon had a special flavor, all its own. Evidently I made a good case, as she started “tasting” each one, to make sure…

Yes, my sister still talks to me. And yes, I still try to boss her around. And color still does play a big role in my life. But now I channel my creativity into designing websites, Flash presentations and the many other different design projects I have included in my portfolio. (That includes creating a special site for my little sister, who has a unique business of her own.)

I was always drawn to making a statement using visual tools – at first, using my crayons, later, using my camera and even now, discovering the power of computers and software in my design work.
